It's been noted on another really helpful thread that one can max out Logic running VSL in EXS, as I do, but that additionally one can open VIs, which allocate memory independently of Logic. On top of that, someone said one can also run VI standalone. Will this indeed allocate memory as a third independent app?
Are there issues with sample count limitations that make this scenario less attractive than it seems? Because on the face of it it seems that with this setup a fully loaded G5 could be the equivalent of several giga pcs, for example. Am I overlooking something?
