oh crap... wait a minute... I think it just occurred to me... we can only have one library on each machine, is that it? So I could put Chamber Strings on one and Solo Strings on another, but not both on both... lame, lame, lame.
Why? Because if it's cross-platform, it's cross-platform. I only ever want to boot my PC for larger arrangements; if I can do it on the Mac alone, I always will. I suppose I can transfer my license only when I'm working on a larger arrangement, but that's more than a bit picky.
Yes, I suppose the argument goes that one could potentially sell copied Vienna Keys, but at what point does protecting property from non-users become throttling the rights of authorized, paying users? It makes me think of the great gated communities of the U.S., where people live all wonderfully safe and secure in their self-made prisons.
Anyway, I think I understand now.
(I'm sure the VIs will make up for it, but it's a disappointing start.)
