    Dear All,

    I am having a consistent crash when I try and load the Bb Clarinet. I am using 1.06 on a Dual G5 with 7GB Ram and OSX 10.4.6 and Logic 7.2. The crash is completely repeatable, and I emailed the crash log to support last night, but have not had a reply yet. Has anybody else seen this problem. Any ideas for a fix.

    Hello is anybody there? Do the VSL tech guys monitor this forum? Anyway I have re-installed Woodwind I & II now the Bb Clarinet will load, but know sound! The VSL Daemon has crashed with the log below. Would be nice if a technical could get back to me, I'd like to make some music.

    the system seems to have problems with shared memory and sockets, possibly you're actually trying to load more than you have available memory. questions:
    - does the system run smoothly refarding all other stuff
    - does/did this happen also with earlier versions of the VI

    Hi Marnix,

    The system ran fine with version 1.05, it looks like, from the activity viewer and logs that the Logic song I am loading crashes the VSL Daemon at Bb Clarinet because it runs out of available memory. A couple of questions:

    If I run out of memory, surely VI should just tell me and refuse to load the samples.

    What is the maximum memory you would expect the VSL server to use out of 7 gigabytes of total ram, when running with Logic

    Any parameters in Logic I can "tweak"
