    Hello all,
    I have a couple of questions about assigning controllers. I have SX3 and a UF8 controller keyboard.

    I should like to assign my physical controllers to the perform sliders.

    Firstly, when I do so manually it does not get remembered after restart - How?

    Secondly when I use two or more VI's the controllers remain assigned to the first VI but do not effect the second, even when focus is changed.

    Maybe I should give up on this? It seems like my idea is a good one - but maybe impossible.

    The controllers get saved with Presets but not Matrices - which can be a nuisance, you're right. But all I've done is made a Startup preset for each instrument with all my controllers saved just as I want them. Then when I add a new matrix the controllers don't change. I'll only lose them if I change the instrument assigned to that VI by loading another 'Factory' Preset.
