Pricing for individual instruments
-
Is it still VSL's intention to sell instruments individually?
I'd like to know before I purchase any more libraries.

Hi CM,
Is it possible to publish the prices, rather than requesting quotes for each individual instrument ... which Herb has been kind enough to do in the past.
-
So will you publish the prices, even if we have to go through a manual method to purchase them?

You get a discount for instruments you already own. The discount vary, depending which package you already have (Opus 1, First Edition and Pro Edition with or without the Performance Set, and related Horizon products)
The extended price for chamber strings is 595 Euro, the summary price of the seperate instruments would be 700 Euro. So the separate instruments are not cheaper than the whole package?

I own the pro Edition with the performance set, and the first 5 VI volumes.
If I buy the piccolo flute from the Woodwinds II volume, what will be the price ? 75€ ?
The discount seems to be unique wheather I am logged as a user or not, am I wrong ?

You have to own the Standard Library of a Collection in order to be able to buy single instruments Extended Libraries of this Collection. The price of the Piccolo Extended Library for instance is EUR 75, but if you have registered the Complete Orchestral Package Pro Edition it's only EUR 30. (Upgrade prices depending on your registered sample libraries are not implemented on our website yet.)
