  • New user seeks more info please

I am a new user, presently I only have Orchestral string 1 at present, with more to come.
I have read the manual and seen the videos, but would like more information please.
In particular I would like to know more about performance interval, performance repetition, and release sample folders.

1] How do performance intervals work - whats the underlying programming?

2] How do performance repetitions work - whats the underlying programming?

3] What uses do release samples have? I suppose they are used for last notes in a phrase - does one just tag an appropriate release sample on the end of a phrase, or am I missing something?

PS: A thanks to all who led me to buy VI's I am delighted with the control I now have

    Hi Zero
Here is a link to the using of the Performance Tool.
It was the "predecessor" of the VI - so to say.
Now in VI all connections, routings etc. are done for you. You only have to play.
Nevertheless the VI is based on the same samples like you have it with the
Performance Tool and the ProEdition and Horizon-Series...
So please watch the videos Legato I/II, Repetitions... There you will get
the information you are looking for.

    All the best
and have fun with your new VI
