    Dears,
    there is a chance to simulate bowing alternation ( on long note ) on VI ?
    Appreciate any suggestion...

    What I do is put a small amount of stacc (long) into the 2nd cell and play it at a low volume. therefore you get the feeling of a new bow. Obviously it depends on the tempo as to which articulation you use for the blend, but a little experimentation will help with this. you can always set up different blends and then keyswitch them to your heart's content.

    There is no difference. If everyone changes at the same time then you can use my trick. If they change at different times then you won't hear it anyway.

  • Hi Anton,

    you can also simply retrigger the note you played, there´s a repetition note with a bow change automatically provided on each Legato Performance with the Vienna Instruments. If you set the Release Time in the Perform window higher, it will have a smearing effect (you can of course assign the Release Time to any MIDI controller...)
