Looking at the Forum threads, I see that much comment is spent in complaining about the string samples, but I've also heard enough pleasing examples of VSL strings that I'm convinced that they can be done well (i.e Herb, Beat Kaufmann, plus many good examples from the users). Does anyone agree that getting Orchestral Strings would be the best first step, financially and practically, to solving many of the problems in combining the various string articulations (such as being able to play legato, stacatto, heavy vibrato, no vibrato, etc-in other words, like a real stringed instrument) uninterrupedly on one track in one pass. And would this be a good first step to moving into the new VSI? Comments? Thx, OJ [[;)]]
