    Does anyone know anything about the new version of the VI software posted in the software updates area??

    Yes, I'm curious about this as well. I downloaded it but I am hesitant to install since the last version is so good. But maybe it will be even better.[:D]

    I took the plunge.

    1) Make sure you restart your Mac when you install this.

    2) I think it's about 10% more efficient on CPU and more polyphony.

    3) When you click on the Audio Unit Server Show Window it mutes all VI's sound for a split second. This is new. Probably stops midi hung notes while in play.

    4) seems to work well both in Logic and DP.

    5) 1st start in Logic was slow. Subsequent starts normal.

    anyone else?
