    Hi
    Installed VI 1.03 on a pc, this pc had previously a 1.0 version. I deleted the 1.0 version using XP:s remove program.
    After installing the VI 1.03 version and loading all instrument maps in directory manager VI cant find any patch or matrix.

    I have tried to install patches from the DVD to a new folder on the harddisk, but same result....no patches

    Anyone?

    I have had no problems installing VI on my two other PC:s

    yofish, i'd recommend to download and install the 1.05 - updating without uninstalling works fine from what we noticed with any version so far.

    have you tried to add the folders holding your library data using the directory manager (a reboot might be required after this to get the instruments displayed) - DM can be found in the Vienna Instruments program group and is working already recursive

    did you check the license key? in some cases you need to restart if it doesn't scan the licenses correctly. vi doesn't show any patches if the license was not loaded

    Some people have had to delete all the files from the VI-DM and reload them. The rescan feature doesn't always refresh the file associations as it seems it might...
