    Hi Everyone,

    I use Sibelius 4 with GPO and would like to use Sibelius with VI. How can this be done? What do I need to do?

    I have followed many of the VI-Sibelius threads and am now completely confused!!

    I have a G5 dual core with 4 gigs of ram. I use ProTools for mixing.

    Can somebody give a really simple/clear answer to this??

    Zam, there is no simple answer. It is a complicated business. However it can be done.

    My set up is Sib 4 sending midi through "Maple" midi cables (which are a free download) to Steinberg's "V-Stack" (which costs around £45 GBP) in which the VI is hoasted.

    Have you purchased any VI yet - or are you only thinking about it?

    I do not use a midi keyboard - all my midi comes from sibelius with all the midi instructions embedded in the score.

    If your set up is similar to this I will happily talk you through the small detail?

    Also my approach is as a keen amateur with plenty of time to tinker and not a pro trying to set up the most efficient workflow or up against deadlines.

    Let us know what set up you have got.
