    I seem to have done something daft.

    I recently had to reinstall my entire OS + Apps - thankfully my samples are on external RAIDs, so I didn't need to go through that again.

    I've just launched Logic and selected a VI GUI in instrument 1, and there are no matrices or presets. My head's not quite straight at the minute - how do I relink?

    VI-Directory Manager application... should be in your Application folder...

    I've done it, and still nothing in the GUI. I tried the VI 'main folder' - with nested instrument folders, as well as each individual instrument folder.

    any prefs I can delete safely?

    Hi Peter...
    you have, if I well remember, to choose the "inside" folder (i.e.: 21 Violins Orchestra; 22 Violas Orchestra; ecc)... doesn't work for you?

    "Vienna-Instruments-Directory-Manager.plist" (Users Library>Preferences) is the file... but I think you don't need to delete it... (just "remove" the old folders, inside the VI-DM...)

    P.S.: ...remember, Logic (or the standaloneVI) must be closed... and be open after the "relink" is done...
