    Hi. I made a little test composistion using the VI... So far I have only been fooling around with the VI - So I thought it would be fun to try compose a peice using it. Its nothing fancy, or even complete. But I thought I would share it anyway, since many of the demos so far have been of single instruments.

    I think it's pretty good as a section music - but sound-wise it's the same as previous VSL libraries to me.

    I was about to ask the same question [:D]

    It has the clean sound that I like, which I've not heard with other sample libraries. Good overall effect for me.

    Hey - that's great then. No need to waste anymore money on getting the VI for a shed load of money. Wow! I've already got this sound - that's brilliant news. Thanks guys - saved me a lot of money. I owe you both a drink. Marvellous. [:D]

    While the sound isent different you do get many new articulations, and the best sample player ever created - but again you know all this dont you? [[:)]]

    Anyway, I just wanted to post a peice of music, and explain the circumstances of it. Not start all over on last years discussions.

    I was going to ask the same question about the chorus...

    Nice piece-- just when it had my attention it was over. More- more!!

    The middle voices and gentle dissonances were clever and very effective.

    PE vs VI? Hours turn to minutes. Time is money, too!! [:P]

    I'm interested to know what you used to get such a deep sound. Is that Altiverb or something .. cos I'm trying to get a similar sound using Space Designer .. I'm sure it can do it, just not sure how to do it.

    By the way .. can I use this piece for the VSL podcast .. it's sounds great. [:D]

    I hate to say it but having gone through the transition recently from SD to altiverb they're in a total different league.

    Very nice work! And I would agree with those who say that the VI advantages are tremendous. Everything that the tutorials claim proves accurate! Careful with the 3 GB switch though... I spent 2.5 hours with my computer builder on the phone trying to recover my system after it wouldn't work.
