  • New DTS Mastering Tools for Mac and PC!!

    Direct from DTS!!!

The DTS-HD MAS encodes bit streams in DTS Digital Surround, DTS-ES 6.1, DTS 96/24, DTS-HD HIgh Resolution and DTS-HD Master Audio — a format that’s bit-for-bit identical to a master soundtrack, according to the developer.

The new DTS-HD MAS can be used for DVD Video and surround music CDs, as well as HD DVD and Blu-Ray Disc formats. It supports HD DVD and Blue-ray Disc Primary or Main audio streams with up to 7.1 channels of audio at sampling rates up to 192 kHz.

The included StreamPlayer decoder is capable of decoding any DTS bit stream. It can lock to timecode from an external source, and works with QuickTime movie tracks to verify visual lipsync.

The DTS SAS lets you encode bit streams compatible with standard DVD Video and DTS Surround Music CDs. It also includes StreamPlayer, and can be upgraded to the DTS-HD MAS when you’re ready.

The new suites will be compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” and Windows XP.
