    Hello,

    Is it better to use WDM or ASIO drivers ? I work with a Sydec Mixtreme (WDM drivers), Cakewalk Sonar 5.0, on a P4 3Ghz 2G RAM but the CPU reaches regularly the red zone. I thing ASIO is better for VI but can I have your confirmation ?

    Christian knows WAY MORE than I do. So you should listen to him first. But my ASIO drivers were not getting good performance. I switched to Echo Mia WDM drivers (that were optimized to work with GigaStudio 3). So far this is yielding my best results. So if your ASIO drivers give you problems it's worth trying your WDM drivers.
