  • A few questions about VI.

First of all, I would like to congratulate everyone on the VSL team - and I really mean to congratulate every single person.

I have not ever heard of a company like VSL - I am really proud of the existance of VSL - The forum is my favourite place on the web.

Now, I have a few questions about VI.

If I understand clearly, the repetetion limitations have been completely outdone? There is not 'Limist' to repetetions now? I could just play in any tempo ?(Provided the articulation is there in the first place - I understand that).

Will this repetetion and universal mode be included in every VI set? I am planning to buy the Orchestral Strings 1 and 2 and Brass 1. I currently cannot see the articulations included in Brass. So just to clarify, all VI will have the same repetetion and universal modes?

Also - What is the difference between the Extended Library and the full Library? Where can I find a comparison chart? I saw the chart for differences between Standard and Extended but not Full Library?

What does it mean - Extended discounts will be given to horizon owners to upgrade from standard to extended versions? What is the amount that will be discouted? And why cant we calculate that in the Discount calculator.

OR have I read something wrong. Because on the Discount Calculator - it says, discounts are only available on Full editions.

Final Question - In the VI interface - No reverb plug in is included as of now? I will have to use an external reverb unit like Altiverb etc? I ask this because I am currently using Gigastudio - buying VI will change my set up because I will no longer be able to use Gigapulse.

I am sorry if these questions have been answered before. If anyone wants to direct me to a earlier topics or something - its all right.

    Thank you.

    Best,
    Tanuj.
