  • Velocity splits

Is there somewhere we can access the data about what the midi velocity numbers are for the various velocity layers. Im sure this was in the OPUS1 manual but I haven't found a detailed manual like that for the VI solo strings.

In case I haven't explained myself properly - where, say, there are four velocity levels in a patch, what is the midi number range for each velocity? eg 0-45 first layer, 46-85 second layer, 86-106 third layer, 107-127 fourth layer etc.

As a side point, the number values in the big eye for the VXfader go up to 100. This makes putting the right midi number for each velocity level in Sibelius awkward - wouldn't it have been more convenient to have the number range in the big eye up to 127?

In the Introduction of the Mapping Documentation (the pdf file that you can download from the User Area of the VSL' site... ) there is a "tabella" with all that values...

Anyway... 4 layers have (but there are also 2-3-5-6 layers):
    1-55 56-88 89-108 109-127

    I hope I didn't misunderstood your post!

    Cheers...

That's exactly what I wanted Rino thank you. I had looked for the manual in the user area but didn't find it. Sometimes the VSL site is not the easiest to manoeuvre around!
