    Hey Folks -

    If one gets FX Teleport, how do the samples get to the farm? Through the host application, or does the hard drive have to be on the other machine? In which case, does one need extra Vienna Keys or licenses just to farm out processing?

    a) on the other machine
    b) yes you need a vienna key for each machine containing a VI collection.

    The licences are per collection. So you can put one collection on any one machine. So lets say you have 4 collection, then you can put two collections in each. If you want the same collection on two computers you need to buy the whole shebang again. There are no additional license options. So you might want to avoid that [:)]

    Christian is correct, but to answer your other question, the audio travels from your slave PC over the network to the DAW and appears as a VSTi output, in the same way that other VSTi on the host computer do.

    Thanks, guys. I guess this means that if I want more power, I'd best pick a platform that farms processing out without having to load VI on another machine (if such exists...) Or get the maximum power on one machine...
