  • New Composition (Japanese hint)

    Hi!...

I am working on a Japanese animation. Its a really nice and sligthly weird but nice weird animation and has many japanese influences.

I have never done anything like this before - so it will be good if I can get some comments.

I am posting the first minute of the animation (Music only):

Hope to hear from you guys!

    Best,
    Tanuj.

  • needs to be richer I think unless the animation just shuns richness for some reason.

  • It would gain believability if you compose it in a japanese tonality. The very end of the example sounds a bit like Puccini's Madame Butterfly...

If you don't know what the traditional japanese tonalities are, let me know, and i upload the japanese diatonic system for download

For example: if you write for a SHAKUHACHI in D, then the tonality is "Ichikotsu cho". Questions? - Just ask!
