Hi!
Here are my thoughts after 10 days of using VI about the learn feature.
It's very useful (I use VI on a 2 gig PC) to free memory and add mor instruments or articulations to your score.
I don't know if you guys are using this option a lot since I know you all have a lot of PC (some of you have 4 pc!! wow) but I hope some of you do use it.
First of all I wish this option was less general than applying a "learn" on the whole matrix loaded in the VI. I mean, maybe I use 2 notes of a legato and I want the VI to only keep those two for this articulation but I want to keep my full stacato range since I know I'm gonna use it later in the piece (not written yet). So if we could choose what matrix or even patche(s) are learnt to be optimized it would be great.
Then, I also talk about this in another thread but this one is dedicated to te learn feature so : It's kind of annoying to open all the VI and click for each one on the learn button, play the song, re open each one and click on the optimize button. If only there would be a short cut, it would be awesome!
That's it [:)]
