    I'm sure that I read that VI is more efficient that GS when it comes to loading samples, however I would quite like some figures from VSL. As an example, I loaded Oboe2 Performance legato f+p+susblend into GS and also the Performance legato into VI.

    This is what I found (via increased memory usage in Task manager):

    Gigastudio 3
    115,300Mb

    Vienna VI
    64,068Mb

    Can VI really be almost 100% more efficient, especially as they are now 24 bit files? [[:|]]

    Well - thats what VSL have claimed since day one [:)]

    I was a little sceptical, but I can definately load far more into the VI than GS3. Impressive to say the least.
