I've noticed there are many string patches which make use of 2 automatically alternating samples. For many of these it is obvious that one is definitely an up-bow and the other a down-bow.
I can't figure out how to tell the VI which one to start a phrase with. In the old performance tool, you could reset the alternation during a performance to begin with an up or down bow. You could also specify 2 ups and one down (or vise versa.) which was very helpful for triplet passages.
Is this functionality missing from the VI? Or did I just not read something correctly?
I'm trying to do a piece in a fast 12/8 and the rigid up/down bow alternations are really throwing the feel off.
Any ideas? Thanks!!!
