Having experienced a number of problems with the 5.0.0.1 driver on PC I have found that rolling back to 4.9.7.6 is much better.
5.0.0.1 gave me the following problems
1. Would sometimes lose specific VI instrument licences and report a missing instrument
2. Would give me a Syncrosoft POS error on exiting Cubase - this is actually because I have a number of steinberg VSTs, notably Hypersonic 2 and Groove Agent 2 which go a bit wierd with the 5.0.0.1 driver
If anyone is having problems then go to the syncrosoft website where they provide some instructions on rolling back to 4.9.7.6 (you can also d/l this version there)
