    Im completely disappointed about nonworking of installation of vienna instruments. I took the latest installers 1.03 (for software instrument and library). I registered the key online. I registered the vienna instrument or whatever and got the activation key back which I tipped into the license control program. As it didnt work after 8 h I stopped. This was a week ago. Today I installed again (also library) which was senseless. nothing works with logic 7.1.1. Not even the standalone inst. I then thought to clear the license and to reinput the activation key. But now Im not sure if that was a good idea.

    sorry to hear you are having troubles. Unfortunately I cannot really locate the reason for it, could you please be more precise, so that we can help you?

    From what I can tell, your installation process went fine and you have the Syncrosoft LCC running (otherwise installation canĀ“t work)....

    If you start License Control Center, does it show the licenses for the products you purchased?

    If I understood you, the Vienna Instruments Standalone, the Vienna Instruments Directory Manager as well as the AU-plugin ViennaInstruments.component have been installed allright on your system and show in the finder, respectively in the plugin list in Logic 7.1.1? So the problem seems to be the Library Installer or the Directory Manager...

    Was the library content actually installed on your harddrive, i.e. can you locate it in the finder?

    If so, please try to remove and add again manually the folders containing the .dat files of the library sample content in the Directory Manager.

    I am positive we will be able to sort out your problems - the Vienna Instruments work flawlessly here on a similar system with Logic 7.1.1!

    Sorry for the long delay.

    Installation seems to be okay. I have 5 folders.
    10 strings chamber 488 KB
    11 violins chamber 7,4 gb
    12 violas chamber 6,83 gb
    13 celli chamber 7,66 gb
    14 bassi chamber 7,45 gb.
    I assume that the "10 strings chamber" takes its samples from the other four folders.

    When starting Logic 7.1.1 it comes to AU validating, does not proceed, and then comes the error "Applikation Vienna Instruments hat den folgenden Fehler verursacht: 1"

    Im not sure if it is licenced now because. I think I will delete prefs, repair permissions and so on and reinstall.

    I did installation of the licencse control center 5.0.0.1 now again, the key is already registered and so is my vienna instrument (208 chamber ...). It shows "active, registered" on the homepage

    Oh my god. After reinstalling at least the standalone instrument works. Chances enhance!![:)]

    Also the AU inst in Logic is working very fine. I'm looking forward to ordering the next library. [[:P]] [[:P]]
