Dear VSL stuff,
after all the general Mac-Discussions about RAM usage in logic (...) i'd like to ask if
it's possible for further updates to find a solution to run the VI-Standalone in addition to VI inside of logic to get the possibility of using more RAM.
(actually, the 16 GB ram on the Quads are more or less useless!)
So, the standalone unit would be connected to logic via some kind of bridge;
it would make sense with a multitimbral (e.g. 16 MIDI channel) version.
Is this realistic?
As far as i rate the benchmarks with PCs and G5s, actually it's realistic to run the VIs on about 2 (or even 3) highend machines to be able to realize a more complexe texture.
