  • VI interface suggestion

    Hi Herb, Paul, Christian's [M & T!]

You guys must never sleep - this week anyway!

Getting along better today - have a viable system up and running, and learning all the time

One suggestion - if I have different VI instances, every time I open each interface it defaults to the "PRESET SELECT" page.

Any chance it could remember the last page invoked....so if I was changing matrices rather than presets, then loading the next interface would also start on the matrix select page?

Else a set of shortcut keys to open different pages.

    Andy

  • My suggestions so far:

    a) Make it possible to force a cell to play either A or B. http://community.vsl.co.at/viewtopic.php?t=7782&iframe=true

    b) When I use the expression pedal for switching matrix its default (when it isent pushed down) is to select the 2nd matrix. I would like to invert this. However when I do this the expression pedal resets itself to 'Expression'. Its more of a bug than a suggestion, but now you know

    c) It would be nice if whether or not Xfade is enabled could be cell dependant. For instance if i'm playing sustains and legato I want Xfade control, but when playing detache and staccato I want it to be velocity dependant. I know this can be done manually by using a controller, but it would be nice if it could work automaticly on a cell to cell basis. Does that make sense?

  • d) Drag cells around, Move one cell to another slot.

A definite yes on this one if possible as well as copy paste articulation from one cell to another.
