  • Can't get the red square to show!

I'm trying to switch matrices while I'm playing, and by clicking on the respective matrix a red square should light up indicating that you can assign the switch with the keyboard. This is in VI-Patch Matrix video tutorial. I have followed the preceding steps but I can't get the little red square to show, and naturally its function.

  • Right click on PC, Control click on Mac. If that doesn't work there's something not right it would seem.

  • Okay!!! Now I know what the right click button is.... [:O]ops:

  • Let me help you once more. Many people do not know that on a Mac you must hit Control click when being advised to right click. This combined with so much advice being given in the language of Windows operating system has left Mac users in the dark more than a few times. You have made this assumption yourself (that I am coming from the Windows perspective) so you see how prevalent this is.

State your operating system if you want remarks limited to it (a statement tantamount to teaching one how to right click.)

  • These endless options with this mac mouse makes VI look like child play. Why is it important to know the temperature in New Guinea in 5 days with one click of your mouse?

Anyway, I've been hearing on the tutorial video Paul S say: "right click this and right click that", and I'm going: "what the hell does he mean??" So everything that had to do with right clicking failed. I figured out the side buttons on my mouse did the right clicking. Didn't know there was such a difference of computer vocabulary between Mac and Windows, I will state my operating system next time. Thanks for the tip. [:)]

Oh, and if a Mac user out there has advice for a basic setting for the Mac mouse without all the extras, please let me know....
