Library Installer application not working

After sucessfully downloading the Vienna Key License and obtaining the activation code from VSL, I attempted to install the Solo String Library. The installer application does not open. (E.g. I double click the icon and nothing happens thereafter.)

What is the solution? Also, apparently contrary to the information on the website, I received no e-mail confirming registration, merely the statement that I had successfully registered the software. However the registered products page does indicate that I succesfully registered the library. Finally, after noting that the Library Installer did not work, I upgraded the license control software after obtaining the Vienna key License and the code now shows and additional set of symbols.

I am running this on a dual processor 2.5GHz G5 equipped with 7GB of RAM. The OS is 10.4.5 and the applications I intend to use with the VI Library with are Logic 7.2 and Digital Performer 4.6

I would, very much, appreciate help with this.

Have you tried waiting a bit longer? In my case it took about 5 to 10 sec to open.

Thanks for the thought. I wish it had worked. No matter how long I wait nothing much happens: I hear a little disk activity, there is a slight movement in the Dock but no icon ever appears there. It seems as if it starts to open and then quits before take off. I have restarted, shut down and started again and gotten the same results.
