    Hi,

    I've just finished installing the intruments... all seems to be working beautifully except for one thing. Whenever I load a legato patch from the orchestral violins, the legato files seem to be missing.

    All the other patches load without a problem.

    Does anyone have any idea why this happened, or how to fix it?

    Any help would be much apreciated.

    please could you specify, which file do you exatctly load,
    A patch file, pr a matrix file?
    If it's a matrix file, please could you tell me which patch of this matrix file is not working.

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I load the matrix: L1 VI 14 Perf-Legato Speed + Porta. The 2:1 (Legato) sound does not work, there is no sound there. The other sounds in the matrix seem to work fine. I think it must be a problem with this specific matrix/patch, because all the other instruments work perfectly.

    When I load a single patch of the violins: VI-14_perf-legato... I can play the patch, but there is no legato sound.

    I know you can change it and save it.
    If that preset is wrong and that patch starting 03 doesn't exist shouldn't there be an error message on load. I know error messages exist because I have only loaded Strings 1 so far and if I select Orchestral Strings VSL preset I get millions of error messages because it calls for Basses etc. which are on Strings 2. But perhaps error messages apply only to samples and not to the supplied presets.

    Sorry, I'm little late here.

    The 03 VI-14_perf-portamento can't be found, because this patch name was changed to 04 VI-14_perf-portamento during the mapping process.
    I forgot to update the Matrix file where this portamento patch was included.
    I'm sorry about this mistake, but so far this seems to be the only one labeling error in the library.

    You can add the correct named patch if you exchange it on the PATCH ASSIGN page.

    The Matrix file L1 VI-14 Perf-Legato speed+porta should be active/loaded.
    Select cell 2:1
    PBow the patch 03 VI-14_perf-portamento should be displayed.
    Select the right labeled patch in the folder structure on the right workspace:

    21 Violin orchestra
    __10 PERf INTERVAL
    ____04 VI-14_oerf-portamento

    Drag this patch on the left side over the wrong labeld portamento patch

    Save the preset as a custom preset.
