    Dear All,

    Logic is hanging validating the VI Audio Unit. I have latest install from web site, get info on component reports V 1.0 10th Feb 2006, is this the latest version?

    Anybody else having problems?

    BTW Stand alone seems fine

    Yes, we investigate on this.

    However, Logic starts w/out complaint
    (referring built: 8 Feb 06)

    Dear Christian,

    Many thanks for the prompt reply. A log file reported "problem enumerating a USB Device" so I swapped the Vienna Dongle to a single USB port (not in a hub), this has allowed the Logic AU Manager to successfully validate the Vienna AU. For your interest it's a Dual G5 and I'm using the USB port on the front of the Mac for the Vienna Dongle. The Logic dongle is on a hub on one of the rear ports.

    When I ran AU validation on the Vienna Instruments it didn't hang but probably took 10 minutes to complete!

    Mine crashed the AU Manager at first. Tried again. Same. Powered down and back up, and tried a third time. It worked.
