    I would be interested to hear from anyone who is running the Vienna VI using FX-Teleport. It is obviously still early days, so I'm not panicking yet, but so far it is unusable for me.

    I can load one instance of VI, but on loading the second one Teleport crashes and loses the connection. Sometimes Nuendo also crashes, but not always. It also sometimes causes Remote Desktop to crash as well [:(]

    I'm going to install a few instruments on my DAW (when I've found a drive to put the samples on!) so that I can be sure that it is not all pilot error, and will be gradually introducing Teleport and Remote Desktop into the equation.

    Therefore if anyone has any suggestions regarding Teleport, I would love to hear them. Obviously I'm not intending to use VI for any professional gigs ATM, so there is no urgency, but as there are many people who either use Teleport or are considering using it, I'm sure that there will be interest in this subject.

    OK, well good news; the reason that VI doesn't work with FX-Teleport is (pause for drum roll, when Percussion becomes available): well it does work! However, as mine is coming from a GS machine, it doesn't work with the memory tweaks (doh!!). As soon as I reset to Windows XP default, then there is no more crashing. It still crashes if I try to load over my RAM limit, and it would be nice if in future versions of the player a warning sign came up to stop it happening, but as long as I'm careful, there is no problem.
    I've only just figured all this out, so I need to play a bit more, but with 2Gb RAM, my limit so far is about 1.75 GB of loading. I have yet to install extra RAM in the system (and may not until I have a real handle on VI) but I expect that to go up to about 2.7GB. I let you all (if anyone is interested) know.
