Preconfigured Preset error?

Just installed Strings 1.

Now try this:
Load: /21 Violins Orchestra VI-14 VSL Preset level 1
Select: C2 keyswitch Set to Perf-Legato Speed +Porta
Click: Control edit
Click: Cell 2:1
Examine what Workspace Left states is loaded.
Data is "03 VI-14_perf-portamento".
(Cell 2:1 seems to be silent)

Now Select Patch assign
I cannot find a patch called "03 VI-14_perf-portamento"
I CAN find a patch called "04 VI-14_perf-portamento" in 10 PERF INTERVAL

Have I got something wrong or is the Preset set up incorrectly?
I know you can change it and save it.
If that preset is wrong and that patch starting 03 doesn't exist shouldn't there be an error message on load. I know error messages exist because I have only loaded Strings 1 so far and if I select Orchestral Strings VSL preset I get millions of error messages because it calls for Basses etc. which are on Strings 2. But perhaps error messages apply only to samples and not to the supplied presets.


.....but it is early days.

I am impressed so far.
