    Hi - i'm kind of on the fence about buying a G5 mac. If I install my SC on PC, and then later want to go Mac - would I have to buy a side license, or VI platform independant?

    I'm pretty sure both the MAC and PC version of the VI will be on the DVDs so it's going to be cross platform. The dongle of course stops you from using it where you shouldn't.

    If its not the same DVD then I hope TimeSpace UK are psychic as I've not ordered a PC specific version.... [*-)]

    data for the VI is crossplatform, the program itself is of course a seperate one for PC and MAC. to migrate from one platform to the other simply copy or re-install the content and move your ViennaKey (the licenses are on the dongle)
