I am trying to make a set up for an orchestral piece in my Giga on a PC with 2 Gb Ram with the Pro edition. I can only use 4 ports. Of course I can load the All-instruments, but I also want to use some performance instruments because they sound so much better. I have done some combinations already, but I wondered if there are ready made interesting set-ups that make optimal use of the available memory in Giga and the PC. Or maybe there are 'best' set-ups for strings+ brass only, or just for only one group of instruments. I ordered the new VI SC which will be on a Mac G5, but I want to keep on using Giga on this pc. So I am quite interested in these set ups.
