    Does anybody know, if there are special solutions for the Hard Disk storaging for the Cube?
    800 GB are much, so one needs about 4 HDs with 250 GB.

    Do a search and you will find threads about this. FWIW I believe that it is actually only(!) 500GB data.

    Ok, 500 GB is a bit easier to handle...
    Maybe there will be more 300 GB HDs until summer,

    I also think (although I may be wrong) that it was said that the data is compressed, and it was suggested that 2 x 250GB drives should be enough, even accounting for the empty space that should be left on each drive for streaming efficiency.

    I'm actually counting what the standard cube will _really_ cost, beyond the library itself...

    actually, until there are no more specific tests, i don't know if it even makes a sense to buy the cube for just one computer (G5, 2.5 DP)...
    So there's probably the need for an additional PC, a soundcard, some cables etc...
    costs over costs...
