Intelligent Legato in Polyphonic Patches

How can a polyphonic patch understand a legato line? How does it go about interpreting which notes should connect to other notes when all notes are overlapping?

No technical answer is needed. Perhaps VSL could just give us a general idea.

Hi Plowman,

alas, you still can't play polyphonic with an interval performance articulation. But you can use it in the same Midi track as other (polyphonic) articulations, so you don't have to switch tracks - just use a monophonic line when you're using legato ... VI will take care of the rest.
