Well, I was listening to a flute quartet by Sofia Gubaidulina, in which she uses legato flutter-tongue passages -- a very cool sound, btw!
Then it occured to me, "will VSL ever do something like this?" And I thought... "of course they will, one day!" Why? Because VSL will always need "somewhere to go", and with music, that "somewhere" is virtually limitless...
I guess this isn't even really much of a post, so far, since I'm not really asking a question... so how about this:
Does VSL see the Symphonic Cube as the completion of the sampling side of their project? Or is this just one in a potentially never-ending series of "completet editions"?
Kind of curious, as there are still so many things I'd love to have access to (like multiphonics... yum!).
