    Why VSL dont sell just the instruments separately ?
    Maybe in the full version there is a Eb clar or G flute etc....
    maybe someone dont need all and turn the Cube more affordable.....

    I think the VI would be the best platform for that.

    (although now for sure some-one will come and discuss my income situation - LOL)

    Actually I think that this is a good idea, but maybe for the future. However, I think that there would have to be a basic installation package, but maybe in time extra instruments could be delivered as downloads.

    Atm it's kinda like that: you buy the standard editon, and then you can get 'extended' verisons of single instuments.

    As I understand it, this is already planned and will be done. (There was another post like that were Paul mentioned that)

    But I think it would be a good idea to sell single instruments - one instrument is on one of the packages - so you need to get the package and then get a licence code for just one instrument. (The samples of one package will be installed in blocks, so I would not need to install all samples oth the package)

    I mean one package - the DVDs themselves are not important in calculating the costs. the manuals may be important, but I think even of you then had to buy all the manuals for pne package it might be still interesting - do not think it adds that much. And as another point, only the licence would have to vary.
    For distribution one could say that the minimum cost for one instrument is x$, so a package costs x$. Then upon registration you can decide that you want one instrument, x instruments or the whole package and pay online. (Today we make the decisions for the sampler format - that also functions). You then get the code and be happy.
