Herb,
I was wondering if there is a complete list of articulations and playing techniques that will be included in the Pro version of VSL? I saw the rough outline on the pricing page on the site, but was wondering if there is another more indepth list somewhere, be it on the site or in a thread in the forums (i.e. ranges you sampled, difference in ensemble sizes, etc.)?
Also, this is just me asking, but may I ask why there wasn't a solo viola sampled? I could see the logic in the double bass because of its poor acoustical carrying power, but why not a solo viola?
On the plus side, I saw the list of the percussive instruments and started drooling (sleighbells -- YES!). I'm torn between saving to buy the Pro Edition when it comes out and then purchase SI, or buy SI first and then get SI -- difficult choices.
Thanks for the insight.
