  • SE. Vol 4: voices

I love my recently acquired Studio Special Editions Vols. 1-2. Since i got them I have been (quite obsessively) thinking about how I will be expanding my VSL library.

I am looking at two voices libraries. I was very impressed with Studio Voices, but I am also wondering if Special Edition Vol. 4 wouldn't be enough for what I do (improvising, sketching, and then scoring with Sibelius, all on my laptop).

I would be thankful for your experience with either voice library and/or if you could point me to a walkthrough, or examples of SE Vol. 4 sounding out of the box (I couldn't find any).

The question is: would Vol. 4 be realistic and flexible enough for someone not interested in high quality mockups but in realistic improvised performances and convincing scoring of 'contemporary classical' works for choir and solo voices with orchestra/ensembles using Sibelius.

    Thanks!
