    Hi,

    I have a question about the soft articulations in Synchron Strings (Attack and Release)

    Are these real sampled articulations or are these modified samples with their Attack and Release Sliders adjusted (behind the scene as to speak).

    In other words can I get the same effect by adjusting the attack and relese controls myself

    Yes, these are separate and specific samples for attack and release. Here's a quote from the product page: "Attack and release variants for basic articulations except molto and senza vibrato."

    For example, Synchron Pro Violins "medium layers" have a normal attack labeled: 04M VI-14_Long-LyV

    By comparison, Synchron Pro Violins "medium layers" have a soft attack labeled: 10M VI-14_Lo-soft-LyV

    Those are two different recordings/samples.
