I'd like to report a bug I have experienced a while ago. It still persists, even though the usual VSL procedures are followed.
It seems that the Vienna Assistant application doesn't recognise correctly - even after a system reboot - whether the latest updates have already been installed or not. In my case I'm talking about the "NKS" section and all of its "add-ons" that make VSL libraries show up in Native Instrument's Komplete Kontrol application.
Well, when launching Vienna Assistant (also in the latest release from today), in my case the application always claims that new NKS files for the "Starter Series" and for my "Elite Strings" are available, and these can be installed now. Well, that's okay in general. But regardless how often you download and install these files, the system will first confirm that everything is "up to date" now, but after a system reboot and launching the Vienna Assistant again, exactly the same files (definitely with the same version numbers) are offered again and again.
I guess I was one of the first users making pressure on VSL to provide NKS support for their products. That's why I was also using some dedicated VSL NKS installers in the very beginning which VSL provided to me, before the "regular" update method via Vianna Assistant was launched. Even though I already removed these previous "NKS" files by using their dedicated "uninstallers" in Windows, and I started long ago to use the current update method via Vienna Assistant, the same NKS updates keep popping up every time.
Please advise what's the problem here, as this seems to be a bug. Thanks a lot.
