    This question was raised several years ago in the "Signal Processors and Effects Hosted by VE Pro 6 for My Sequencer?" thread and possibly more recently. Using VEP as an effect host can be quite cumbersome.

    Currently, to run FX on VEP PRO, I have to set up:

    • One track to instantiate VEP for the FX
    • One FX track with a "Live Input" insert for sending audio to VEP PRO
    • One return audio track to receive audio feedback from the VEP instance

    For any additional I/O, I need to create two tracks—one for sending audio and one for returning it.

    Is there a way to have a single plugin insert that connects the instance and manages both audio send and return?
