    Synchronized solo cello Vel XF suddenly locks mid score--

    After that, the volume wont change. The other strings --viola/violin--work fine.

    I can't find anything in the score that would do that.

    What happened? I can turn vel XF off --but, well...I'd rather fix it.

    Anyone?

    Solved it---

    Following a correction, I left the pianissimo dynamic marking below the staff where a quarter rest now appears in the score.

    Make VelXF lock up.

    Discovered it looking at score and havent corrrected---but 99% sure.

    Now you know. Rest don't have dynamics---not yet anyway. Wait until the "microtonal" people get to them!!!! 🤮
