Does anyone know how to trigger "soft release" with Synchron Solo Violin in Sibelius ? ("soft" in the score gives "soft attack" in the player, as well as "soft release" in the score does) )

You have my sympathy. The question wouldn't need to be asked if the documentation was clear and laid out to match the Synchron tree of articulations. I previously suggested this be done even if only for the latest Synchron solo string instruments and perhaps the Duality strings since these are flagship libraries.

Hello!
As far as I can see, there is no soft release articulation included in Synchron Solo Violin. You could automate the Release fader with MIDI commands like this:
~C23,64 (default release)
~C23,80 (raised release)There is no dedicated command to trigger soft release articulations. You can always copy any articulation to one of the custom slots and trigger the custom slots with "custom1", ..., "custom6".
