Presonus Notion 6 and VSL

What do I need to do in order to use the synchron player inside Notion 6?

Currently, I own the synchron harp, studio woodwinds and studio brass.

But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to have them show up in the plug-in manager.

You need to add the path to the VSL plugins in the Notion Plugin Manager. Be sure they are Enabled.

You can find the path in Vienna Assistant, in the Preferences. It's labeled VST2 Location.

Thanks a lot dear Bill 😊 I was confused since other vst's showed up, but they are indeed vst 3's. So now having this working, it becomes clear that I don't have any control over keyswitches and controller data. Is there some solution to have that available, will for instance VE Pro be helpfull in that?

We offer Notion settings for our Synchron Prime Edition, but not for our other libraries.

Hi Robert.

Notions does have a system for creating playback rules for any given library (found under the tools menu). I really haven't spent time working with it, so can't comment. Sadly, Presonus has closed their forum, which used to have a section on this.

There's also a "sequencer overlay", but that only allows you to edit note length. You can over dub velocity.
