  • VEP hanging up issue

    Hello

I’m running the latest versions of VEPro (7.3.3725) and Dorico 5 Pro on my stand-alone iMac (os Ventura 13.7) - no networking.

    My problem is this:

I’m working on a project with VEP & Dorico Pro 5 and I decide to switch to a different project. I close the current VEP instances and the current Dorico project. I open the new Dorico project and it opens the appropriate instances in VEP as per the vesp64 file.

VEP loads about 60% of the project and then hangs up and causes Dorico to also hang up. To close it I need to do a force quit, same for Dorico.

This has only started happening since the last update of VEP. How can I solve this issue?

    Thanks, ColinD

Do you have the ability to load the VEPro session independently of your DAW? I ALWAYS save the VEPRO session as its own file in case the data in the Daw gets corrupted If you can load the VEPro session on its own, that might give you a clue as to where the hang up is coming from
