  • NKS for Starter Editions wants to update every day

When I open Vienna Assistant in the morning (or on a new day) the NKS for Starter Editions always tell me that there is an update. Which I do not believe, since the dates tell me that the latest update – v1.0.4 – was in September. Nevertheless I click update, then for the ret of the day (even on restart) I am left in peace. But tomorrow all starts again.

I uninstalled NKS already several times. I tried to find any remainings on my Mac, but to no avail.

Is anybody else having the same problem? What can I do?

  • Same

Hi everyone! We are aware of the issue reported, and unfortunately, the underlying reason is that the latest update for Native Access breaks our NKS installers for both Mac & Windows. As a result, installed updates will reappear, or their location will show a broken/non-existent path.

While Native Instruments has been informed and promised to take a closer look, I am sorry that there is no workaround.

  • I am watching this post, but I do not get any information via email about an replies. Strange... I thought that is normal. Do I misunderstand something here? Do I have to activate a setting?

  • Oh OK well I am not surprised, Native Instruments isn't what it was before it sold itself off
