  • Midi controller for VSL libraries?

What controller do you use to control velocity and expression?

Does anyone know what this content creator uses?

    Official VSL video.

I have two keyboards, a Studiologic SL88 Grand and an M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3. The Studiologic has 3 joysticks, but the keys are too hard to press for my right arm (tendon sheath)...even harder than my piano's...the M-Audio has soft keys and a mod slider, but I need more sliders.

    What controller do you use?

    Korg nanoKONTROL2 : https://www.korg.com/fr/products/computergear/nanokontrol2/

  • Thank you! Do you have one?

  • Not at all, no. I don't use any slider-based controllers.

However, I use a 32-key Stream Deck unit for shortcuts. 😉

  • For recording, solo etc. shortcuts or for controlling velocity, expression and other values?

  • That's it, yes. To control the different functions of Cubase, Studio One, Dorico
(record, solo, mute, cut copy paste, undo redo, zoom, etc.).

I correct and draw automation curves with the mouse to control the velocity, the expression, etc.

My MIDI keyboard only serves me to play the notes.
