  • Synchron Brass sale, important question

Hi! I just saw that Synchron Brass is 395€ now instead of 575€. I almost bought it during Black Friday without a sale, which would have annoyed me a lot as there is a sale now. 😄

There is a special with vouchers:

    "Vienna Vouchers: 3+1

Purchase four Vienna Vouchers of the same value (€50, €100, or €500) in one order and one of them will be free!"

Does this mean I can buy four vouchers worth 100€ each -> 400€ -> one is free -> a total of 300€...and then buy Synchron Brass with my credits worth 400€ although I only spent 300€?

So I get Synchron Brass for 300€ with this combined sale of brass + vouchers?

  • Hello Leander,

Theoretically: Yes, IF Synchron Brass was exactly 400 EUR.

BUT for technical reasons, you have to spend your vouchers in full, so you will be better off purchasing 8x50 EUR Vouchers, use 7 of them and then pay 45 EUR, while you keep that 8th voucher for your next purchase (they don't expire).

  • Thank you!

  • Wait, I don't understand your example. Why should I spend 300 + 45 = 345€ for a remaining credit of 50€? The remaining 5€ for buying 4x100 for 300€ would not be lost, but I need to spend 345€ instead of 300€. Yes, I would keep a voucher for 50€, and the bottom line is that I would not lose 5€...BUT pay 345€ instead of 300 now...which would only make sense if I had plans for more libraries to buy. Otherwise I am forced to buy whatever because I have a 50€ credit. Losing 5€ without remaining credits is better than not losing 5€, but having a credit of 50€...I already bought Strings Pro, Solo Cello + Violin, the synchron-ized upgrades for my old libraries and spent a lot... 😊

Vienna, we have a problem (I'm from Wels by the way. :)).

I did not understand your reply. I thought I could buy 4 vouchers for 100€ each for a total of 300€. I bought them...now I have 4 vouchers worth 100€...but the checkout does not let me use all 4 of them. I have 95€ left for Synchron Brass, have the last 100€ voucher.

I thought your reply wanted to point out to me that buying 4 100€ vouchers and using them would not make sense as I will lose 5€ by spending 400€ on a product that costs 395€. And I thought it was ok with me...I rather use vouchers worth 400€ on a 395€ product than buying 8 50€ vouchers, paying an additional 45€, but keeping a 50€ voucher...so I won't lose the 5€.

Now I have to pay an additional 95€ and have a voucher worth 100€ I don't need for something else at the moment. 😞

Please help. What should I do? Contact VSL support? Normally, in Austrian shops we can use vouchers to spend them on a product and pay the remaining sum OR use a e.g. voucher worth 100€ on a product worth e.g. 90€...and we either get the 10€ back in cash or the remaining sum is lost....so I thought your checkout would be the same...and your reply also meant that...and your hint was I should not spend vouchers worth 100€ -> 400€ on a 395€ because I would lose 5€...and you wanted to keep me from losing the 5€.

  • Already talked to support, thanks 😊
